Family Fun at the Great Wolf Lodge

First off, we want to wish everyone a very Happy Memorial Day. And on this day of remembrance, like many, we enjoy spending this time with our loved ones.

With that said, and summer vacations on the minds of many, we find that we have enjoyed starting our summers off right, with a weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge. Making it a tradition that the kids look forward to each year.

We also find that when we plan a weekend getaway to the Great Wolf Lodge, we know that our weekend will be filled with not only lots of great memories, but fun that will keep everyone engaged the entire time!

The time spent each visit does seem to go by fast, however, it never disappoints! This is because upon arrival, at check in, we are given not only our bracelets to gain access to the indoor water park, but also the must have passes that the kids look forward to each time!

These passes are great, and they offer options for extra fun activities during your stay. These options include the Pup Pass, which is perfect for little ones to use, whereas the Paw Pass and Wolf Pass offer a bit more for the older kids. We enjoy all that the Great Wolf Lodge has to offer, plus we have older kids, so the Wolf Pass is a must for us!.

With the Wolf Pass, the kids can enjoy the famous MagiQuest, along with admission to the Howlers Peak Ropes Course, candy, game card to the arcade, and so much more! In fact, we learned after our first visit years ago, that the Wolf Pass offered the most value, especially when we plan a weekend stay.

Aside from the passes and attractions that the kids enjoy, there are also the private cabanas in the water park that are a must. This allows for the family to have a reserved area to go to in between the rides down the water slides, or meet up after an adventure through the lodge as the kids go on their MagiQuests. The cabanas also offer a bit of privacy and a place to relax.

With a cabana, you get comfortable seating, a television to watch as you relax or enjoy a meal, a mini fridge for water, personal towels to use during your stay, a fan, and even more so, outlets to plug in phones! For me, the outlets are a must, especially if you are like me and take a million photos of the family enjoying their time.

Then, after a day filled with fun and adventures, we have found the themed suites, such as the KidCabin Suite, to be the perfect way to relax and end the day. Where, in the suite, there are plenty of beds, space, and comfort to be had.

Which when you look at all you get when you book a weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge, makes the choice one that you will be glad you made!

So this summer, when you are looking for places to head to that are family friendly, and offer lots for everyone to do, be sure to check out the Great Wolf Lodge!
