Back to School Essentials from P&G Fabric Care #Review

It’s that time of year again! The time to prepare the kids for back to school. And like many families, aside from our high schooler and elementary schooler, we also have a college student. With that, as Estrella prepares for a new semester, as parents, we like to help prepare her for school by ensuring she has the supplies for classes as well as basic cleaning supplies. In fact, aside from her bathroom necessities, having laundry supplies is a must when sending kids off to college. This is because, as kids head out to take on their adventures on campus, they do not always think of all that is needed, which includes products for keeping their laundry clean.

Having the products kids are familiar with using at home, with them on campus, helps to reduce the amount of laundry they might show up with on the weekends or during breaks. Aside from the great lineup of laundry necessities, we also learned from the fabric care team at P&G that now through September 29th they will be awarding over 100 $10,000 scholarships in the US!

The Tide & Downy Back to School Scholarship is an initiative offering a total of $1.5 million in educational scholarships to university students nationwide. To enter, students can enter the sweepstakes by scanning a QR code linked to Tide.com, where they’ll specify their school, demographic information, and preference to release their information publicly if selected. After the sweepstakes ends on September 29, winners will be chosen randomly and notified directly. To ensure the funds are used for educational purposes and eliminate any tax burden on the students, the scholarship amount will be paid directly to the students’ schools.
